After a few years of personal research, social media discourse, and seminarian study I have finally decided to launch Nuni de Menei, a Christian website featuring apologetics, reflections, and all things biblical from an Oriental Orthodox perspective.
The name of this website comes from the first three words of the original Greek text of I Corinthians 13:13 which are: “νυνὶ δὲ μένει.” Their meaning can roughly be translated to “Now [these] remain.” in reference to faith, hope, and love; the greatest of which is love.
This site’s mission is grounded in these three things: from championing the truth of our faith in the face of false teachings and misinformation, to defending a moral worldview grounded in the royal law: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Lv. 19:18, Mt. 22:37-40, Mk. 12:31, Lk. 10:27, Jn. 13:34, Rom. 13:9-10, Gal. 5:14, Jas. 2:8, 1 Jn. 4:21)
My vision for this site is to build it up to be a resource for thoughtful Christian content for the curious believer and non-believer alike.
I intend to publish a variety of content on this site in several concurrent yet distinct series. The first of which will be titled “The New Frontier of Apologetics,” which is focused on defending the integrity of the Christian belief system from those who represent it poorly on social media.
Other series will be focused on a variety of topics from the history of the Church and the Bible, to apologetics responding to the claims of people from other belief systems.
Regardless of how you found this website, I am happy that you are here.
Maran atha.
